Two months into construction, the new church building is steadily taking shape. We’ve cleared out the old structure from when we originally purchased the property, and now we can see the framing of the walls that will one day become our church. This includes the areas where offices and restrooms will eventually be located. Installation of the air conditioning units is also underway. There is drywall that is being placed and the roof that is being refurbished; these are just a few of the great progresses that have taken place over the last two months.
Outside the property, we still have several RVs and boats that belong to people in the area. But praise the Lord—that season is coming to an end. We’re in the process of moving those RVs and boats so we can begin the next phase of construction.
One of the major changes happening as a result of the new church is the construction of a building specifically for the children’s ministry. A structure is already in place and is set to undergo renovation in the coming weeks. This will include updates to the restrooms and the kitchenette inside, as well as the removal of old tools, benches, and appliances that were left behind.
We have more than enough to be amazed about with this property, the progress, and with our mighty God who’s directed us in the last two months. We encourage prayer over the coming months as we continue with the expansion of construction:
This is a journey for the church as a whole. We are currently working on a property that is one day going to be our place of fellowship, worship, and learning more about our God. We thank you for your prayers, hard work, and servant hearts as we are in the midst of this great but amazing change. Our God is so good to us to open this door for the church. If you have any questions or feeling led to help in any way, we encourage you to come find Pastor Ron, Austin, Patrick, or any intern at the church for more information.
